Mila Look-Dev

The top images I rendered from Maya after completing the UV mapping for Mila.  I did three passes.  The first pass was simulating AO by turning all the materials assigned to the object white.  The second pass is a specular pass and the last is a colour pass from the original Z-Brush polypaints that I did at the beginning of the character concept.

These three images were done in Photoshop starting with the above passes from Maya.  The aim was to explore a variety of looks in a short amount of time.  I played around with colours, textures and materials to give each image a different look (getting all of the bad ideas out of my system ;).

Mila UV mapped

I have finally finished the UV mapping stage.  I will now be able to extract the Polypaint from Z-Brush onto texture maps so that I can import them in Maya.

Mila Posed

Instead of rigging the character I decided to use UV Master in Z-Brush to pose this character because of  my limited time frame.  The UV-Master plug in proved itself very effective as I was able to do this quickly and with a minimal amount of remodelling.

Trav Texturing

Finally finished most of the texture maps for Trav.  Still have some tweaking to do but here is what he looks like so far.  I used a mixture of Photoshop and Bodypaint to generate the texture maps and finished up with Maya for the rendering.  I am planning to use render passes for the final images to have a bit more control over the final outcome.
